Case study – netplus.ch SA

netplus.ch SA, a leading service provider with more than 150,000 customers, have implemented an Agama Client Device Monitoring solution and reduced problems impacting on-demand customers with more than 50%.

How Swiss operator netplus.ch reduced problems in on-demand delivery by more than 50%

netplus.ch SA is a leading service provider servicing more than 150,000 customers throughout the French-speaking parts of Switzerland. Driven by a generous catch-up offering, their on-demand traffic has grown to a sizeable part of the overall services being delivered.

To assure the quality and availability of these on-demand services, and to get a better insight into the distribution and in-home networks where a large portion of issues come from, netplus.ch have implemented an Agama Client Device Monitoring solution.

Before this project, netplus.ch already had a comprehensive Agama monitoring solution tracking video service creation in the head-end, but it lacked transparency through the diverse distribution networks and into the homes of its subscribers.

As netplus.ch knew from experience, a significant proportion of all the issues reported by its subscribers stemmed from the last mile distribution and in-home networks. Improving transparency in this area was key.

As netplus.ch had a successful head-end monitoring solution from Agama in place it was natural to together look into the challenges of better understanding the distribution and in-home parts of the service delivery.

netplus.ch has integrated the Agama CDM-solution into a number of processes to support its operations. Request the case study to learn more.
